vintage double 50's

What makes them not serviceable?

If they can be hydroed and possibly even if not they could be worth several hundred dollars. Double 50/45/38 vintage steel tanks are highly desireable to pre-BC divers.

There is a huge amount of rust inside both tanks, and they have been struck by a sharp object leaving a huge gash in the side of the tanks.

I scored a set of old steel 50's a while back and found them to be way to negative to dive without a BC. They were more negative than my double 72's. The 72's are about -9 full and the 50's were -11.5 full in fresh water. I have them on a BP/wing.
