I just got back from a cave diving trip in Mexico with Connie LoRe. This was my
12th trip. Stayed at Villas De Rosa. I hadn't been in 2 years and had been
hearing it had gone down hill. I was glad to see this was not true!
Nancy no longer runs the place. Tony Sr and Jr have taken over! They, along
with Wayne, have been working hard at restoring things to tip top shape.
I was picked up at the airport as usual and greeted by Tony Jr immediately upon
arrival.
Then I was shown to my room which was clean and had new bathroom hardware.
Everything was in good working order.
Dinner and all the meals were great, well presented and tasty. Fresh fruit
every morning.
The up keep of the yard and beach was good. Our little beach porch cleaned
daily. The beach bar is still there but not a part of Villas De Rosa. I hear
the roof top bar may open in the future. No dogs running around and into the
condos either.
Unfortunately I got a bad cold my 2nd day there and wasn't able to dive the rest
of the trip. Wayne and Tony checked up on me several times a day and offered to
take me to the doctor. The maids also checked to see if I needed anything in
addition to the room cleaning. I was served chicken soup for lunch.
Even though I was sick and unable to dive everyone tried to see that I was well
treated and taken care of.
I will return next year!
