I've been a huge fan of Viking drysuits for a long time because they are a high-quality product. However, I've recently become interested in DUI suits as well. I usually dive on wrecks in the Pacific North West or Atlantic North East, which means COLD water. Any recommendations? Also, what do people think of DUI's budget-level crushed neoprene suits?

I'd take the crushed neoprene suit any day of the week over the Viking for wreck diving. The Vikings are easily patched (in fact it can be done on site), but the crushed neoprene is very tough. I've had a Viking and have not used a DUI, but I do use a 2mm fully collapsed neoprene suit -- the Abyss Pro Kevlar TX. Both the Viking and DUI suits are great quality suits, but my nod goes to the crushed neoprene for wrecks.

Good luck,

Mike

The durability of the CF200 wins out over the Viking PRO; you'd have to jump to the Viking HD series to get ahead of the cf200.
The vulcanized suits do dry in a matter of minutes though & the SiTech valves do not make mischief as often as DUI's Apeks.
