Victoria Vis conditions?

At Willis Pt. (Saanich Inlet) today, visibility was surprisingly very good. The top 10' were terrible (I couldn't see my knees), but then suddenly it cleared. At 30' deep, visibility was maybe 50' and down on the wall visibility was 50-80', but it was a little dark.

Approximately 5 feet in the shallows at Tyee today, but cleared up once you got below 60 feet. Nice to be back in the water after a prolonged absence....

In the Brentwood Bay area near Daphne Islet today, visibility was a few feet near the surface. It started to clear below 15' deep. At 30' deep, visibility was 20'. Below that, visibility was around 40', but dark.

Pretty decent to Deep Cove (Saanich Inlet) this morning. It was less than 10' in the shallows, but below 30' deep visibility was around 30'.

Vis on the big wall at Madrona was about 40 feet yesterday. Still a bit soupy in the shallows but improving.

A nice 30' in Enterprise Channel today.

20' near shore and 30' a bit farther out at the Trailer Park Islet past Sooke today.

15-20' down on the wall at 10-Mile Point today. 6-10' up closer to shore.

Amazing visibility up in the Nanoose area at Oak Leaf Drive Park today. I'd say it was close to 100'. I could clearly see the surface from 105' deep. The most impressive part was that it was this clear from top to bottom.
