We dove the big wall at Madrona last evening. As it was getting near sunset it was hard to accurately determine visibility, but I would estimate at least 75.
Needed our lights for most of the dive. Four wolf eels, including two young adults, and four big octopus. Couple of good size urchin beds developing so there
will be lots of food for the critters once fully developed.

Dive safe :D

Kind of nasty in the 10-Mile Point neighborhood today. Visibility was 10-15' at the Mount Baker View Road shore access.

Varied between 10-40' at Hospital Rock near Chemainus Harbour today.

I dove McCurdy Point today with Aquarius Dive Club. The vis was magnificent - 80' at some points. The second dive, Tanner Rock, not so good, but the GPO made up for it.

I dove Henderson Point with Aquarius Dive Club last night. The vis was great: 40' +. at some points. The GPO under octopus rock right now is huge and a seal was having lots of fun with us on our return to shore.

Back to Henderson Pt today. Top 20' was pretty bad, maybe 10' vis or so. Opened up nicely below 30' with vis in the 40+' range.

15-20' at Ogden Point 05/10/14

Henderson Pt again ... with all the runoff vis in top 20' was 10' at best. Opens up very nicely below 40' (it is a tad dark) with vis in the 30'+ range down around 60'.

10' or so at Ogden Pt on 01.11.14
Lots of silt in the water.
Did manage to spot a juvenile wolf eel out for a swim at about 35' deep between flags #1 and #2.
