Very nice at Race Rocks today: About 50', which is probably the best I've seen there. Later at Albert Head, visibility was about 20', maybe a bit more. -Not too bad.

Can give an update here for the same sites a week later ( Sat 12th of July ):
Albert Head - couldn't see my camera's strobe at arm's length at surface, at depth (45'+) could see just past tips of fins - pea-soup / 10-12'
Race Rocks - 15-17' at best it wasn't 20'

Heading back to Race Rocks this Sat, so will report back...hopefully it's returned to what you had. Dived Ogden last Sunday (6th) and other's confirmed your 50' at Race....jealous. :)

Not too bad at Ogden Point this morning. Visibility was 20' at the end of the breakwater, but it seemed green and dark. As I drifted back towards the second bend, visibility improved to about 30' and it brightened up.

About 15' at Ten Mile Pt. today. -Not great, but ok for this time of year.

Race Rocks today (Sunday) - 50'. Sea Lions played with us both dives. Heard it was similar viz at Ogden Pt(40'?).
Thursday (Saanich Inlet) - Senanus Island was like 70' at depth. Those cloud sponges are amazing.

We dove the GB Church yesterday and McCurdy Point. There was lots of suspended particles at the Church and vis was probably about 20'. McCurdy was 50'+ incredibly clear!

While pulling up the dive ladder I lost my wedding band at McCurdy. If anyone dives there and has some time to kill at 30' (southwest of the anchor) to look for it I'll happily pay a reward for its return.

Dove at Dolphin Beach (near Tyee) this morning. Vis was good in the shallows, but was great on the big wall. Estimate 75 feet plus. It was the top end of the high tide. Pair of wolf eels, some big tiger rockfish, and some big ling cod.

Dove Tyee Cove this morning. Once you got below the thermocline at approximately 38 feet, the visibilty was fantastic. :D Estimating around 75 feet of horizontal visibility at depth. Could see the ripples on the surface from 85 feet.
