That's why I don't dive in Nanaimo, killer humboldt squids, great whites and the Cracken! Bamfield on the other hand has three Spanish Galleons and caves with treasure that no one has ever found or looted! Maybe I'll dive there.

I did 2 dives in Saanich Inlet today in the Christmas Point area. The water looked like yellow-brown tea from the surface, but below 10 feet deep, visibility was 50-80 feet. -Great for appreciating the topography.

6' in the top 10' and 50'+ below that at a couple spots in Finlayson Arm (Saanich Inlet) today.
Thanks I'm planning on diving in the inlet this coming week-end

50' at Willis this afternoon.
Went out for a dive at the Breakwater yesterday evening, viz was around 20ft. Thrills and I made it to the end 25 minutes from #1 so we had a strong current to swim against on the way back. But that doesn't matter with the CCR we had a lot of time, total runtime was 85 minutes.
