Victoria Vis conditions?

Below about 20 feet, visibility at Henderson Point was 30-40' today. Because of the weather it was pretty dark, although I could still see my way around at 115' without a light.

40 to 50 ft at Willis this morning, under a 100ft the viz drop to about 20ft.

15' outside Smuggler's Cove (Ten-Mile area).

20-30' at the top of the wall at Willis. At the bottom of the wall, it was more like 10' and of course, dark.

I've always thought that Saanich Inlet is about the only place around Southern Vancouver Island where the visibility is better in the winter. This year, even the Inlet was much better in the Summer.

Hopefully the wind dies down. When I was at the breakwater today, the waves were spraying right over it.

Thanks Mark, I'm planning to dive deep cove tomorrow morning with my son hopefully we get 30 ft there.

Well! we drove to Deep cove look at the water and decided to dive at Henderson Pt instead, not a bad dive under 10ft the viz around 30ft.
