Pretty nasty at Willis Pt. today. Vis was around 6' in the shallows. It cleared up a bit below 30', but even though I went well below 100 feet deep (testing a camera housing), vis was still only around 10-15' there and of course it was like a night dive. I don't know what's going on with the Inlet lately. It's like it's May or something.

We did a nice 90 minutes dive at Willis PT yesterday morning and the viz was around 40-50ft under surface layer(top 20ft), under 100ft it got cloudy again but was still not that bad at 20ft. We saw two stubby squids, I've been seeing a lot of them lately all above 100ft. But you right the viz for this time of the year as not been as good as usual. Maybe that mean that we will get 70+ft during the summer like last year.:D

If you want to come a couple of hours north of there I'll dive with you.

I'm at work (for once), otherwise I'd probably be at the breakwater anyway.

That's weird, I thought diving was your work :D

Outstanding viz this morning in the Saanich Inlet 70 to 80ft under the first 15 feet at McCurdy Point.
