Hey everyone. I am looking for someone who knows the Victoria dive scene. I try to come here a few times a year to visit my grandparents, but I just recently got into diving. I am aware that frank whites offers free dives thurs/sat. But I am planning to visit my grandparents with my wife this new years and the days we are coming do not coincide with thurs/sat. I want to know if anyone wants to be my buddy for one day of diving. I am planning on coming December 29th and leaving the 1st or 2nd of jan. I won't be wanting to dive after the new year cause of the drinks I may consume those days. But the 30th (Sunday) will probably work the best.
If this doesn't work, then I will try another time. I am a recently new diver. I have 12 dives logged, but besides my air consumption, I am always complimented about the skill of my diving. So don't be scared. I am not a complete newb. On a 50' avg dive I am usually around 40 min dive time. Sometimes more. Would be great to see something other than porteau cove or whytecliff. Thanks!
