I'll be dropping my boat into Lake Michigan in South East Lake Michigan, either out of South Haven, St Joseph or Saugatuck. The MSRA has the Verano listed there but last time we tried to dive it (Fall 2008) we found nothing but sand. Based on my research I guess it can be covered with sand at times. Has anyone dove it recently or have any knowledge if its covered this year or not?

As a follow up, we did end up swinging by the Verano and it was buoyed much to our pleasure so thank you to those who maintain these buoys. Visibility was not great as we had 5-10 ft most of the time. However visibility on the Rockaway was much bette as we had about 10-20 feet there, the Rockaway was also buoyed.
