Hello everyone, rookie question with hopefully an easy answer.

Took my new Veo 2.0 out today, went down twice to the 55 feet range for about 30 minutes each time. In neither case did the safety stop alert/timer kick in. It's set to "ON," 15 feet for 3 minutes.

I just finished the online class, and I can't find any explanation. The only caveat for the safety stop feature is the dive must go past 30 feet, which mine did.

Can anyone point out something I'm missing?
