I have not noticed the air getting trapped. It just seems a bit ungainly. It's not actually so much that performance is degraded in anyway. In the water it is just fine.

I would love to know how one gets a hole in the wing, I let my ex-gf borrow it for her drysuit class and now it has a big hole in it. The only explanation I get is big blue eyes and "Did I do that?" ;) I am guessing something heavy and sharp was set on top of it in the back of the car or perhaps she set it down on a sharp piece of gravel or glass or something.

I only have or have used Dive Rite and OxyCheq until I find anything to be better all of my wings will be OxyCheq. Though I have a bunch of other DiveRite stuff that I think is great.. it's just that I like the OxyCheq wings *slightly* better.

Dr.Mattito:
Got a question about the venture inner bladder. If it seems to be bigger than the outer shell, does this cause air to get trapped in folds so that it is difficult to deflate all the way?

Also, how does one get a hole in the wing?

Been getting a lot of different answers about which wing is the best and which brand is the best. Other than some remarks about not going with Halcyon (from a store that sells Halcyon, Diverite and OMS), are there any other wings in the 30 lbs lift category that anyone can suggest?

I think I have the backplate part figured out, but I am still trying to find the right wing and the right harness system.
