Already posted this in the trips sub-forum, but in case someone doesn't know to look there.

Tomorrow, Saturday the 18th will be in Venice for a beach dive. looking to see if anyody wants to join us. Vis reported at 6' today, and predicted to be better tomorrow.

Well, sounds like fun, but I'm hitting instate at a lake with a buddy of mine to learn how to be a buddy to a rebreather diver and support diver for videography! :D

where in venice? shore dive from the beach? also what time?? its been pretty windy here for about 8 days in a row...the last i heard vis. was poor.i live in venice, and am interested...beatdrew@hotmail.com, thanks!

Please post a dive report. I would love to get back over there for some shore diving, but just about every report I have heard has been 0' vis. If it looks good this weekend, maybe a Sunday dive is in order.

Thanks in advance!

Did the Venice dive this morning. out from the white condos on alhambra st. Vis was maybe 5 feet. Water didn't seem that cold, maybe 70+, surf wasn't that bad. Of course because this was my first dive I got 1, yes only one stinkin tooth. Old man 50 yards south of me filled a :censored: jar with the things. oh well. sucks to be me :sulkoff:

Was the old man in a diveyak? If so, that's Captain Morgan, and you've got nothing to be ashamed of. Anytime he doesn't come back with a couple of megs is a bad day for him.

Also, 5' isn't bad for VB this time of year, though I think I'm calling my dive for tomorrow.
