I am thinking about doing the shark tooth dive off Venice and Spanish Rocks at the end of April. I understand they are shore dives. How far off shore are they? Is it easy to find the dive spots? Are the conditions usually favorable in late April for these dives? What dive shop to rent tanks from? Can I hire a local DM to set up the dives and be a dive guide?
Thanks.

Save the cost of a DM and post the dates up in here. I'm sure one of us will be able to go with you and act as your guide!

I'll gladly show you around the Rocks. My wife and I love the spot, and head out there frequently.

Venice is fun aswell if you know where to look.

If the gulf is blown out I'd recommend heading to one of the springs.

Devils Den, Alexander, Blue Grotto, Ginnie Springs, Rainbow River, etc...

They will take a couple of hours to get too, but they are worth the trip.
