Venice Beach conditions Saturday

I had to get in (after a long winter hibernation) off Sharkey's today. Vis was about 4 inches, thanks to the red tide and a cloudy day. I didn't have my carrots the day before, so I had to beat a hasty retreat back to dry land...

You can find teeth if the viz exceeds 2 inches.

just came back as of 10.00 am viz was 2 inches at the first rubble,16 feet. lots of waves, another diver was out further at 20 feet he said vix12 inches, wind picking up waves picking up madeline packing up will be at Peacock tomorrow with smoadkaire oh yes, no teeth, darn.

Guess I made the correct decision diving the wrecks off Daytona Beach yesterday where the vis was 30' and calm.
