The problem with getting to the boneyard without a boat is access. The area traditionally called the boneyard is off the South end of the condos to the south of Alhambra st. Directly out from the southern set of drainage pipes.

The closest public access to the beach is Alhambra. I guess it could be done if you're motivated enough.

Another name for this site is Golden beach, after the road to the S. of the condos.

8:00 AM this Saturday (05/12/07) Bring a dive flag if you have one, or you can be my buddy

Expect to be in the water by 8:30 AM. We will also eat lunch at the local Pizza Hut (For StuInFl) ... lol

And, oh god... my avatar it killing me! I am changing it soon

I'm interested. And maybe we can work out this "Rum and Key Lime Pie" thing Man to Man.

:). Fine, as long as I get my way, I'm happy.

See you Saturday.

I went out this morning at 1100...a little later than planned, but that's work for ya. Water was choppy with 1 to 2 foot waves, pretty good surge. Vis was 5 ft. or less. Water temp was 78 deg. Tomorrow calls for winds out of the WNW and N, shifting to the W later in the afternoon. Probably not going to be great, but early on it should be diveable with 8 to 10 foot vis.

I am comming out Sunday with a couple of other divers and our famlies 11'ish .... Join me :)

In all the time I've been diving Venice, I think I've found maybe 6 megs and most of them were pieces. One of these days, tho...

Or maybe I need to book a charter with Cap'n Steve (Scuba West). Everytime 2th goes out with him, he finds them.
