Can you use the VDH flat backplates for just normal single hose single tank diving or is it made just for the double house setup for the kraken reg?

Absolutely, you can use it with any regulator you like.

Will you offer a SS backplate soon or only the Aluminum. I would like to buy a whole rig from you but with your cool looking flat backplate in SS.
