I don't understand the question. What kind of valve tester? And what does 5/8 have to do with pressure? Are you referring to the 5/8 BSP thread we all know as DIN?

For working on tank valves, there is a fitting called a tester. It allows you to pressurize a valve without having to drain the tank. I have the tester for the newer hp valves with 3/4" threads, but I have some 5/8" tanks and valves also. Tech Diver nailed it.
