A reasonable approach.

While there has been much debate about e-vaccination records aka vaccination passports, a hard copy record is likely to be considered acceptable proof over the next few months for the vast majority of holiday and business travelers. Yes - there will be forgeries and scams, but the tracking of documents by authorities are likely to detect these efforts fairly quickly.

This is the hope I have for pretty much everywhere over the next few months, my covid pass vaccination card went right into my passport. Would love to see a progressive approach with a stamp to be added by ones home country so it could be included in the electronic scanned info built into the passport.

It's not clear how much progress we will see with vaccination passports before the end of the year, particularly with the surge in cases. But I think the VP will be well underway in early 2022 if vaccination efforts can be sustained.

I remain hopeful, a safe way to get the revenue flowing may be irresistible.

Belize Now Allowing Vaccinated Travelers to Enter Without Testing

The one thing that was missing in that article is that you have to have had the final dose of vaccine 14 days prior to entering Belize. We're going out on the Aggressor IV on April 24th, so I've been researching what I have to do. I actually was able to get in today with only an hour's notice for the J&J vaccine, so I'm all set!

By the way, for anyone reading here that might live in a nearby or bordering state, the Indian Nations (specifically the Cherokee and Creek Nations, but possibly others) here in Oklahoma are giving the vaccine (Phizer, IIRC) to anyone who wants it and you don't even have to live in Oklahoma. Of course, it would require 2 trips, but it could be worth it. (All other vaccine sites in OK do require you to reside here and will ask for proof of residency.)

Actually, the article does say that right in the first paragraph.

"Belize is now allowing vaccinated travelers to enter the county without having to present a negative COVID-19 test. The new health order, which became effective at the end of February, states that travelers who enter Belize through the airport and provide proof of COVID-19 immunization are no longer required to present a negative test result for entry. For instance, vaccinated travelers can present the COVID-19 Vaccination Record Card as proof that the vaccine has been administered at least two weeks prior to arrival."

Geez! Don't know how I missed that! I read it twice. Thanks for correcting me.
