v weights, what are they, where do you put them and where do you get them, or how do you make them?

A V weight drops between your doubles before you put on the wing and backplate.

PS. Don't do this if you're a wet suit diver because you want ditchable weight with a wet suit. Otherwise you won't be able to swim up if the BC fails.
