I really love my good ol' uwatec. It's always there when I need it. But....
what happens when batteries run dry? Is there any indicator (I haven't got the manual)? Is it possible to replace batteries yourself? How long is the battery life (I got mine 4 years ago)?

If it is the Uwatec digital bottom timer you have than it is a sealed unit and the batteries are expected to last the life of the unit! Dependig on the amount of diving you are doing 5 -10 years.

as far as I know there is no repalcement!

Good luck

Len

That is right, the Uwatec bottomtimer is a selfcontained unit and has to be replaced when the batteries runs out. It is a good thing that they last so long...

It is also not as expensive as a regular computer, and is a very reliable unit.

Sincerely

Anders :)

If you average 100 dives a year then it is supposed to last something like 7 years.
