Hello Everybody

I want to buy a Dive Computer and I am confused between

Uwatec Z O2

and

Uwatec SmartPro

SmartPro is the newer one, but Z O2 seems to have more
features in it, are they worth it ?

One more thing, the SmartPro says that it considers the
diver's behavoir (adaptive) how can it do that when it does not
have a transmitter to the tank ??

I would appreciate any help from anyone. I am new in this
Thanks for all your time.

First of all the main difference is that the
Air Z is Hoseless. This means it has a
transmitter on the first stage and no high
pressure hose connection. I believe the
smartpro has an air integrated version that
reads pressure through a high pressure
hose connection.

air integrated does not mean hoseless.

They both consider ascent rate, water temp,
etc. etc. in their deco calculations.

NOTE! The air Z O2 has rebreather support
instead of dive planning. If you like the air Z
you want the air Z Nitrox NOT the O2 version!!!

Also you should look at the suunto line of computers.
The vyper is a particularly good deal.
