Hi all! I'm new to the Scuba Board and wanted to know who's been to Utila, Bay Islands, Honduras? I was just there and it was fantastic. Manta Rays, Sea Turtles and Seahorses in a secret spot.
Stayed at Nightland at The Jade Seahorse. Has anyone ever been to that place? It was wild and incredible. Kind of like being inside Dr. Seuss's and Dali's brain with all the creative design the owner has done there.
Great site.
Rob

:mostlysun Hello there rubienzo, my name is Matt and I wanted to welcome you to the community. I think it’s the best board on the internet for divers. The people on here make it a really friendly place. It’s a great place to see what’s going on with divers. Just wanted to make you feel welcome! Take care. :butnhome:

Let me add my welcome as well. I've been to Roatan, but not Utila. Loved AKR.

Welcome to ScubaBoard! :happywave

I haven't been there but it does sound great!

Don't forget to fill out your profile and dive info, so that we can add context to your future posts. Also, once we know where you are geographically, you may find that you'll have a whole bunch of new dive buddies to choose from locally.

Dive safe!

Christian

P.S. Due to the high volume of new posts in the Introductions and Greets forum, it's not always possible to keep up with all the new posts here. So, please help me out and send me a PM if you post anything you want me to read or repsond to in this forum.

Couldn't agree more about the Jade seahorse. Love the drinks at the treetanic bar too. Welcome to the board. I've done a lot of diving on Utila and you were a lucky man to be seeing Manta Rays. Anyway, it's coming into Whaleshark season on Utila so I'll be there looking out for them.

Hi Rob and welcome to Scubaboard! Haven't been to Utila yet, maybe someday! Enjoy Scubaboard!

Howdy!

And welcome to SB - the biggest, the best, the fastest growing, and :D the friendliest!

Completing your Profile and seperately - keeping your Dive Info up to date helps in future diving discussions. You can use the Quick Links menu above for this. PM me if I can help you learn your way around; that is - click my username to the upper left, then follow the prompts to send me a "Personal Message."

And if you're going to be in Houston Oct 16 - for the DEMA show or any other reason, you're even invited to a SB Bar-B-Q dinner! Click here: http://scubaboard.com/t73366-swampers-bbq-update-and-current-info.html or PM me for assistance in signing up for it. Dee needs to know by the 6th. I wouldn't miss this for anything! :thumb:
