New to the forum, looking for some info regarding a boat to take 4 of us out to the Ozark this summer. Can anyone recommend a good captain and boat?

I don't know anyone running out that far in Destin, so I'm not too much help - sorry.
If you're looking for a doubledip... Look into the Megadan on the way back in. Its shallow, I think only 200-250', a cool 100' shallower than the original "O".

Wookie has a trip scheduled on the Spree in late summer. Not sure if there's still space or not, I was considering it a couple weeks ago but decided to save my pennys and get more BT around here.

Our dive boat is an inshore boat for the most part. All the amenities, but slow as molasses. Fully loaded with 4 divers and tech gear, plus crew, we'd be lucky to make 8 knots - and that on a perfectly flat day!
Loaded down with 6 OW divers and crew, we do 12 knots at best.

First time for us to Pensacola. I've never been on either "O" before, and am probably not qualified for the Ozark. I've got plenty who are, though.
How many divers do you carry on these trips?
I also noticed you're spending two days on the Oriskany before moving on to the Ozark. Can you comment on the choice for this order?

There's alot more Oriskany than Ozark, I guess they want to allow you to view as much as possible.
Yeah, I figure that's why two days on the Oriskany vs. one on the Ozark. I was just curious about going further from shore and deeper on the third day vs. the first.
