Sorry if this has been asked but I am confused about how it works. I am the only diver on our road trip so I am wondering if I would have to charter a whole boat or if a single diver can book. I am trying to dive there on Saturday.

No you do not have to book the whole boat. Go to this thread and go down the list of charters and see if you can find a spot. Weather doesn't look to great for Saturday, but once you get under water that won't matter much.

Good Luck

Hey Glen,

I was just watching the video of your P.C. trip, June 2009. I could see that your first dive was on one of the bridge spans, but what wreck was the second dive on? I've never been on that one before and it looks like a pretty good site. And your right, that was good vis for the Gulf!

USS Chippewa was the second dive sight. It was a great wreck to dive on...we are hoping to go back there sometime this summer. Here is some information on the Chippewa.

the boat looks like the Wreck Raiders rig. Is that who you were diving with? I went with them last July and had a lot of fun.

Yes that was the Wreck Raider. I haveused Rod's boat a few times. We always have a great time on his boat.

Thanks Glen! I described the wreck I saw in the video to an instructor last week and he said that it might be the Chippewa. Thanks for confirming that! I'll have to try and make it out there sometime this summer. Usually, when I'm diving out of PC, it's with open water classes; so that usually means the Bart and a bridge span.
