3.7 vs 3.0 would only be a good idea if the circuitry was designed to work with that. Who knows if it was?I was worried that the rechargeable wouldn’t have enough juice, but 3.7 seems better to me? Im not well educated in batteries but this is going in the direction of the understanding i am after. Can you elaborate further?
I use the standard non-rechargeable batteries in my transmitter. I use a rechargeable 3.7V battery in my Perdix. My reason for using them in the Perdix is not longevity. Pretty sure the non-rechargeable Energizer Lithiums will last longer. My reasoning is that the 3.7V rechargeable works with the Fuel Gauge feature to show a more granular battery capacity. That wouldn't be an option with the transmitter as only 3 levels will be sent.
If you are having issues with the transmitter without seeing any warnings on your DC, you may have other issues going on. For sure, I'd start changing brands of battery and see if that makes any difference.
