I have all Din regulators and at home I have Din tanks, to travel I have a few adapters to use, is there a safety concern with these anything I should be careful about? are they bad / ok / no problem?

They are fine.

The DIR police will come get you if they find out.

The yoke (tank) to DIN (first stage) is safe as long as the thread is clean. I use this all the time when traveling. The inverse adapter is not safe because the DIN side can usually tolerate higher pressures than the Yoke side, but from your description you are fine...

No safety concern. Only issue is they push the first stage further out from the tank and this can create position issues for some people - reg hits their head, etc. I use them and find them more reliable than switching the actual connector since doing this all of the time makes it more likely that the connection to the reg body will be loose and leak.
