Does anyone know if using a strobe like the Ike DS125 or S&S YS90 topside is harmful for it?

Do flash bulbs ever cop it? And what do you do if it does? Send it back to the manufacturer/dealer/dive shop you bought if from?

The DS125 recommends that you shouldn't fire the strobe continously more than 10 times without letting it cool.

is not to fire it on land. remember that a decent strobe is far more powerful than your average land flash and the heat generated will, after a while, cause damage to the strobe glass and the filaments as they will not be kept cool by the water.
