I use this one as well. Although I don't know why mine looks like it's made of plastic and not aluminum. But I love how I can get the camera close to my subjects. Used it for a couple of dives and a whole lot of topside use. Never had problems.

One of my dive buddies uses an old spear with the end removed, heated up a piece of old PVC conduit and squashed it flat and mounted one of the go pro mounts that came with it to te flattened section of conduit! Works a real treat and allows you to get the camera up close with out putting your hand near the biting creatures!
