I suffered a small cut on my glued on latex wrist seals while in the middle of nowhere and was able to get by with tear tape. Going forward however, I want to move to a user replaceable wrist system so that I can change wrists by myself in case a cut occurs. My suit manufacturer recommended the SI Tech system and I would like to ask for the community experience with this.
  1. Are there other system that I should look into or SI Tech is good?
  2. In case 1 is a yes, which ones of the systems offered by SI Tech are recommended? Antares, QCS, others?
  3. These systems can work with silicone, elastoseals and latex seals. What are the pros and cons of the different types of wrist seals?
I know that this is one of those topics where personal preferences are key but wanted to see if there are some directional agreements in the community so that I can narrow down my research a bit. Many thanks!

I've been very happy with my Kubi system. It's very easy to change the wrist seals on the suit side. I usually also use dry gloves but you don't have to.

As a poster above mentioned, Kubi is a good system and it has a good following....the main advantage to the Si-Tech QCS oval ring system is its sheer versatility....Kubi will work with the Kubi glove rings...The Si-Tech rings will work with Si-Tech Antares glove rings, Si-Tech Virgo glove rings, Waterproof Ultima DGS glove rings, Rolock 90 glove rings, Fourth Element Eclipse glove rings, etc.

I have yet to meet anyone who has regretted having the Si-Tech QCS oval rings installed on their drysuit...but I don't think I know anyone with Kubi that has any regrets either.

Between the two ring systems discussed, it comes down to personal preference. Both are good.

Me, for one, has hands too large for the oval Si-tech rings. As for glove systems, PSI (Scuba Equipment | Pacific Scuba Industries) is my recommendation. All machined aluminum, can't pop off ala Kuni.

Has anyone actually used these and can give their opinion (I've already watched and know Mark's)
