Used gear?

Hi everyone,

I am looking for a used BDC/regs/computer on Grand Cayman. I have looked at a popular online sales forum and not found what I am looking for. I don't dive enough to justify spending lots of $ or getting new/high end gear.

Someone once mentioned to me that the local dive shops often sell rental gear at a significant discount. I called a few places to no avail.

Any tips on how to get a good deal on gear? Or if you have any for sale, please feel free to PM me.

Check the classified ads. Hopefuly, you will find an occasional diver (GC has many of them) who is being "rolled over" (sent back home, for you non-GC residents) and needs to sell his gear quickly. I have seen many good bargains of this sort.

Also, Don Foster's and others periodically sell their rental gear at ridiculously low prices. Phone and ask when their next sale will be. Good luck!
