Used Gear price check please

Hey All,


Found a deal locally for the following. All items used lightly and 1-2 years old.


SP Luna dive computer w/ transmitter (1 yo)
Luxfor AL80 tank with Nitrox markings/paint (1 yo, VIP just expired this month 7/2013)
SP MK2 and R295 reg + octo (2 yo, last service 6/23/2012)


Price is $900.


Seems like a good deal to me, but just wanted a sanity check. Thanks!

Does the Luna come with the transmitter?
The MK2 and R295 + octo can be had new for around $475.
The tank depends on how old it is especially if it falls in the 6351-T6 aluminum alloy.
The luna is worth money - used with xmitter in range of $500 to $650

You could always try to negotiate a lower price. Due to being a few years old and used it depreciates. Realistically on ebay the reg and computer could be had used for about $750-$1000 depending on condition and age. I'm not going to bother factoring in the tank.

Computer - A new one is only 720. 2- 3 yr old one here. So half of that tops.

360 + 200 + 75 = 635.00

650.00 would be a generous offer. More than that. Nope.

Not bad. I'm inclined to agree with that estimate although I'd like to know where you are getting an SP Luna with xmitter new for $720 (retail).

If the Luna comes w/ a transmitter and the tank is in hydro and less than 5 years old and the gear has been service in the last year, then it could be a good deal. I use a measure of 40% - 60% off retail for used gear.

Did not notice the transmitter. 720 without at Divers Supply.
