CD- hope you are ok after the storm! We did not get it nearly as bad as LA did.

Thanks so much for the concern :( We are fine here in south central Louisiana. We were on the western edge of the storm, which is the best (if there is such a thing) place to be. We only received about an inch of rain and the winds reached about 40 mph with gusts of 50-55. The only effects here were downed trees/limbs. Areas to our east, including New Orleans, received higher winds and substantial rainfall totals. Some areas below New Orleans that are not protected by the reinforced levee system flooded terribly. We are praying for all those families who lost their homes. While most followed the evacuation order, some stayed and lost their lives. Prayers going out to those families :angel:

Again, thanks for your concern. Looking at your pictures makes it all SO much easier to tolerate :D
