elected to forgo lobstering this AM to double on the grove as yesterdays reports indicated; blue water, 100FT viz, zero current. today; sunshine, light winds, 1FT seas greeted us as we rushed to tie up to the last 2 available buoys(rainbow reef got the other, conch republic held off for an open mooring). 1st dive, ball G1(portside on the stern, 100FT at the pin) ; light NE current, blue water, viz 80+ above the cranes(65FT), 60FT+ on the ship, temp 82-83F@ 65-100FT. 2nd dive, only vessel/divers on the wreck, moved to G4(portside crane). everchanging conditions, zero current, blue water above 50FT, green/brown swamp water on the grove, viz a crappy 30-40FT, colder water as well, 79-81F @ 65-96FT. lots of baitfish, pelagics and the smallest sharksucker iv'e ever observed(on the mooring line @ 15FT). not a great wide angle day. pics from timg,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
