I recently purchased a used Zealge Ranger BCD, circa about 1996 or so. Well used and not a beauty, but it appears to be functional. It is being serviced at an authorized LDS this week, so I will know when I get it back that it is functioning okay and safe.

Question: are they are specific upgrades/accessories that I should consider. So far, I know that I have to get the two yellow integrated weight cases.

Anything else that may be recommended, such as a sternum strap, pockets etc., to bring this up to current configuration?

Thanks

I dive a similar age BC, and let's see what upgrades have I done... hmmm NOTHING!

You may want trim pockets in the rear, but I guess that depends on how your trim is go begin with. You may want the yellow weight pockets, but they are not necessary.

I'd dive it before running out and getting a bunch of extra stuff.

Should be ready to go. The yellow weight pockets make life a bit easier but not a do or die situation. If you are using the 1lb bullet weights they might slip through the bottom of the weight pocket without the yellow pocket.
I agree with RonFrank, dive it and then buy.
