This is a follow-up to the note I sent two days ago. Turns out that they had some coding issues and the live stream wasn't functioning properly so they had to update things which included changing the URL. The new/correct URL for this cam is:

(You can also cut-and-paste into your browser with this (put a period where the spaces are):

And in case you never saw the original message:
For those of you who take people to Vets Park and want to check conditions beforehand, there's a new feed from the City of Redondo on YouTube that's now a live video feed instead of still images, and it's in 720P HD. The camera's on top of the Police Station at the base of the pier and looks south towards Middle and Main Stairs at Vets with a very good view of the shoreline and the water (and waves). So you can get a pretty good idea of conditions before you make the trek on down.

and it's in 720P HD.
I've got a penchant for webcams from exotic locations like this, thanks!

Something is wrong with the quality. Even when I force it to the 720p setting on youtube it's blocky and really bad looking. I only mention because maybe it's fixable? Lots of webcams that I've looked at are low res and far slower framerate so this one is still good.

You've got a very nice beach there! Here's a webcam from my beach: Live Clearwater Beach Video Stream That You Control

Unfortunately, ours is not youtube based. Still, it's better than nothing.

I sort of noticed that too, but only when I take it full-frame. But I'll mention it to their IT people.
