Just to be clear , there are many good shops that willl pick up at CDM. I use Pelagic Ventures, but given your parameters you might want to just start with Roberta’s since it is good and convenient. You might or might want to switch to one of the many other good shops on your second or third trip. If you aren’t satisfied with Roberta’s.
Aldora is a very good shop also but probably more than you need for this vacation. Dive wirh Martin is fine but probably not at the the top of most locals lists. For me “free gear” is synonymous for “we have a lot of beginners ‘. 90 percent of the divers I dive with own their own gear, why would a shop that targets experienced divers throw rentals in for free ?
