This is our second annual DA Spearfishing Competition. We have an absolute blast last year with tons of prizes (more prizes than participants!) and a great group of people. *
Those of you that came last year remember this is more of a friendly group shoot than a competition. Although there will be awards for the biggest fish, we will also have prizes for the smallest, ugliest etc.
Points will be the traditional 1 point per fish, and 1 point per pound.
This event will be based out of the Joe's Bush Parking area at Fish Lake.
8:00- Mandatory check in
8:30 - Mandatory pre dive briefing
9:00 - The competition begins (spears in the water)
15:00 - Hunting must end
15:15 - Check in & weigh in
Prizes will consist of donations from the following:

*PLEASE NOTE: in order to participate in this event, you MUST BE A CERTIFIED DIVER. Any SCUBA or freediving certification will fulfill this requirement.

Come learn how to make your own gun bands! Terry, Dive Addicts' spearfishing expert, will be hosting a clinic in which you will learn how to tie your own bands.
The clinic is FREE, but bring $10-$20 if you want to actually make bands for your gun. Cost will depend on the size of your gun, whether you want 1 band or 2 etc etc.
Invite your spearfishing friends!
