I'm shooting my first shots this weekend with a new Cannon A650 and housing - no strobe. Conditions on shore are ~10-12 foot viz with surf, surge and ~58° water.

I need to get in my first shots so I can tune-up for the Bahamas the following weekend. For a newbie with an A650, what should my first settings be? AP? Permanent macro setting? Full auto? Any insight is appreciated. It will definetly help me up the curve
