Unknown Grouper - no pic

Belize last week. Saw a new type of grouper - can you identify it?

Top 1/3 was army green - front to back.
Bottom 2/3 was cream colored.
Bright blue small spots all over.

I saw 3. Each was about 12" long.

Any ideas?

Coneys piss me off... too many morphs. Even the speckles and eye color isn't truly diagnostic for some types. Bleah!
