Unique or different?

One week and we will be on the beach ready to dive. My question is about t shirts, don't want a run of the mill tourist shirt. It should be about diving (example-bought one in Bonaire that was a picture of a turtle in dive gear with the words " roses are red, oceans are blue, poems are hard, oceans are blue"). Who has unique or different dive shirts? B

There`s a shop off Melgar (I forget the calle...maybe 3 or 5?) on the north side of the calle that has hand painted T-shirts focussing mostly on Day of the Dead images. I bought a Day of the Dead scuba diver T0shirt there...autographed by the painter.

The shop marg is talking about is next door to the Mission restaurant. The artist's name is Carlos. The work is not day of the dead, it is in the style of the Mexican artist Jose Posada. Posada was a political satirist. He is rolling in his grave at the current state of affairs.
The shirts are dyed using a wax method similar to batik.

A lot of the "Cozumel" Tshirts are generic designs with "Cozumel" added to them. Go somewhere else and you'll see the same shirts with the name of that place instead of Cozumel.

My favorite Cozumel T-shirt is the one with a map of Cozumel along with almost all dive sites located and listed on it. The T-shirt is available at the airport for about $18 USD.
