Undo the tank bands?

This may be a question for the TanksValvesBands forum, but it has more to do with using the BC rather than the bands themselves.

I've generally adjusted my bands once and just slip them over the tanks when I set up. I usually don't unravel the buckle or cam or whatever it's called in order to tighten it down before clamping them, except if they're really loose. But sometimes they can be a little stubborn coming off. So my advanced-newbie question is whether the experienced divers here routinely undo and redo the buckles on their tank bands or just set-and-forget.

I usually just "set it and forget it" unless I notice it's loose, then I'll tighten it up. Usually opening the cam all the way gives me enough slack.
