So what kind of undergarments are you guys wearing round here. I wear a hi-tide 300.

Softwear ...

... Bob (Grateful Diver)

Base layer of heavy fleece ski pants and polypro shirt. Over that, a 200g quilted Thinsulate vest or a heated polarfleece vest (when it's working). Over that, a DC 200g quilted Thinsulate jumpsuit. Two layers of fleece socks. That, with a compressed neo drysuit and Argon, is enough for a 45 minute dive in 43 degree water :)

I'm not local, but can I play??!!

When I was there for seven dives last weekend, on the dives where the temp was 52 to 55, I was diving DUI 300 GR Polartech (which is really 2 X 150) over Carols (linky)

When I was diving in the 47 - 50 degree San Juans, I was wearing my DUI 400 GR thinsulate over some REI Long Undies. Very nice.

I always wear 2 pairs of sox. A pair of Carols sox over a pair of Software 300 GR Polartech sox.

When it gets below 50, I gotta go to the Thinsulate. I barely move when I dive as I'm usually shooting - so I get pretty cold.

Andy's Undies 35D. I find it provides warmth from Vacouver to Alaska. Others do as well.

Have you tried the 400 thinsulate? Seems a lot less complex, and keeps me warm in the lake and the sound for 60 mins or so, and seems less complex than the above (although maybe a tad hard to sink in singles)
