Awesome tips! Now I gotta find a place that is doing pumpkin carving when I am available! :)
 
put the pumpkin in pantyhose so you can hold onto it better
we have to have guts in,no pre drawing,all same dive knife for carving(supplied)
get it empty-battle's half over!!!!!!
this is a night dive 55* water-fun to watch!!!!
must return with 500 psi......and the lid!!!!

Get a thin skinned pumpkin. I made the mistake last year. I got down and had one with a skin almost 2 inches thick. Mine came out looking like a three year old carved it.

Oh well.

It was a fun experience
