If you get one, I assume you'll share any riches with us when we dive together?

As my moniker suggests, this is what I do. For $230 bucks you'll probably get an non-discriminating metal detector. That means, it will indicate metal, not the type of metal but the presence of metal or in many cases mineralize soil (nothing is there). If you want more info. check out http://www.kellycodetectors.com and e-mail me if you've questions. :crafty:

Great idea. If you can find a busy pier somewhere, you'll find oodles of good stuff. My buddy and I used to dive under a pier in Florida (without a detector) and find knives, fishing rods, jewelry, etc. With a detector, you'll have a bounty. Then you can sell some of your winnings on Ebay to pay for your detector.

Hey, if you find a money clip with a couple hundred bucks in it...that's mine. LOL. Sounds like fun. I love finding stuff even when its not worth much. Underneath wharfs and docks seems like an excellent place to search for lost goodies.
