I've since discoverd that silicone is incompatible with lexan and the unit will eventually leak.

Even better however is to cut and stack two rings of 1/4" lexan around the glass lense with the 1/4" lexan covers placed on either side. Hold the unit together with your fingers or a weak clamp and apply lexan solvent to the joints. It will be pulled in by capillary action and within short order you will have a glass lense encapsulated in lexan.

Leave a tab on one of the rings to which you can attach a bolt snap or lanyard.

Great ideas, My eyes are a bit tired as well. I never thought of putting cheap reader lenses in the mask.
