anyone part of the dive society thing for undersea divers in Beverly MA?
right after the beverly/salem bridge?

I just joined there "dive society" which is some thing where u sign up for 50 dollars a lifetime, and you pretty much are gaurenteed a buddy for a dive and along w/ that you dive with a bunch of guys to local spots. They do boat trips as well, so you get free boat rides to dive sites and what not.

Just curious if anyones on it.

I think im doing my first dive w/ them on Saturday 12/17

MIT, HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

the day i get into MIT is the day they can send a diver down 2 miles under the ocean sea w/ 1 tank. ( impossible right?!?! )

never, EVER, will i be smart enough to go to MIT.

sorry bub.

I love the undersea divers dive society. When I moved to New England, this is how I got into diving up here--my husband doesn't like cold water diving. It's a great way to meet potential dive buddies and if you don't know the dive sites, you have someone who's been there before (instructor or DM) leading the way. Email me if you want more info.

I forgot to post this in the last message--the boat rides aren't free. Usually we take Fran's boat (Cape Ann Charters)--it's $60. However, some of the people in DS own boats, so you can get hooked up with boat dives that way.

Yes I've been a member for two years now, actuall ever since I was certified. I think the owner Bob is really a great person to do business with and the club is pprety good. The do everything the padi way, so for us newbies the consistancy is there, and they do go to a variety of sites.

my Tutor for school is a divemaster and instructor for undersea divers, his name is Ryan King, have you guys heard of him? hes a really good guy

Yes he is really good at what he does. In fact I did my first boat dive with him as our dm.

neat, whats your name?

ill mention you to him.

i meet with him every tuesday for tutoring for school.

Just tell him that you were on the board and met one of the clutsiest peopople to go off of a dive boat. He'll know who you mean.
