The Cross Channel Scuba Challenge
4th August 2006: founder and President of men's cancer charity The Orchid Cancer Appeal, Colin Osborne and five other highly experienced Scuba Divers are aiming to be the first to relay swim underwater across the English Channel using scuba equipment.

Whilst it will be cold, dangerous and require a huge amount of organisation, we are not just looking to achieve a World Record. We are looking to help fight the battle against male cancers as it is far from won.

Best wishes to all involved!

Yes, Doc, we've done it! We went for it on Saturday 5th August and got across from England to France in around 12 hours. It was a lot harder than we ever imagined, even after 23 months of training, but everyone put their hearts and minds into it and we are just glad to have completed the challenge for the charity.

We have been on several news channels already, so the publicity machine is in full flow for Orchid Cancer!

Cheers for your support!
