Or worse .... with split fins (gasp!)

or dare I say....yellow split fins :11: :11:

I've always wondered where the phrase "Hey, you sass that hoopy Uncle Pug? There's a frood who really knows where his towel is."

Unk,

Obviously you were diving beyond your training and I thought you knew better. I've seen you set this bad example before when you tried some split fins and caused some very dangerous current that put me in serious peril.

You're lucky anyone will dive with you.

ok, so let me get this straight

the Ranger made YOUR mask leak? and then it made OE2X's mask leak?

and you didn't abort the dive right then and there?

sheer irresponsibility

Nice post, Pug.

I was all geared up to rush to the defense of my beloved (and sporty-looking!) Ranger until I got about halfway through the post.

Good to know it only required an extra 2 lbs. to sink it, too. The one thing that's been making me think about switching to the dark side and trying a bp is the thought that my gigantic BC must require some extra weight to sink no matter how neutrally buoyant it seems on its own.

Psh. This was a dive to call before you even got on the boat. Talk about irresponsibility... all accidents start with poor decisions on the surface ;)

Last weekend on a dive my buddies Escape resulted in his computer transmitter failing. Then to add insult to injury, the combined force of my Ranger and his Escape resulted in an entire plane going missing!! It just was not where it was suppose to be down there!!

I initally blamed US, the VIS (or basically lack of), or maybe the marker, but now I understand what really happened...
